Novel methods for sleep analysis and classification
Navrátilová, Markéta ; Ronzhina, Marina (oponent) ; Kolářová, Jana (vedoucí práce)
This diploma thesis deals with methods for sleep analysis and classification. Sleep stagesand biosignals patterns during sleep are described as well as methods for classification.Features are extracted from provided EDA, ECG and RIP signals. Based on those fea-tures individual sleep stages are classified using random forest classifier and the classifierparameters are tuned. The results are evaluated. The features dataset is explored usingdimensionality reduction techniques and the results are compared with the results fromstandard sleep stages classification. The approach for visualization of both raw biosig-nals and extracted features is designed and implemented. Achieved results are comparedwith published methods.
